Main Street Walking Questions
Walk up and down Park City's Main Street or your hometown's Main Street and use these questions as a guideline for your observations.
1. Park City has been through many ups and downs in its mining history. As you walk up Main Street in Park City you will see new and old buildings. How can you tell the difference? (List at least 3 possibilities) Also, list information you found interesting from the Historic Plaques for at least 5 of the buildings.
2. Find 10 examples of how you can tell that Park City was a booming town at the early part of the 1900's and why each example indicates prosperity in Park City.
3. How do you think Park City is doing today? Why? Site 10 examples from your observations that support your feelings.
