This house was built c. 1890.  Charles and Lucy Ford owned this home lived here in the early 1900s with their three children Charles, Agnes and Ruth.  They married in 1882.  Charles was born in Illinois and Lucy in Utah.  They owned the home.

This unusual home is a double cell, two houses joined together with two front doors.  Though commonly thought to represent a polygamists home, this style was actually popular especially in the South and Midwest.  With the separate entrances, the home was favorable for two families to share the home and with such a small family, the Ford’s could have rented the smaller half of this house.

The home is now being restored by the current owners, Jon and Ellie Gallagher. They recently received a grant to redo the porch to its original 1930s look. The 1920s plumbing has been removed and updated, and they are in the process of renovating the kitchen. The Gallaghers are "lovers of Park City and are very excited about being a part of Park City history in saving this beautiful home."
