Park City Museum Holiday Ornaments

The Museum’s Holiday Ornaments have become a tradition for many locals (and many who think of Park City as home).

Featuring different elements of Park City’s history, each year we unveil the annual ornament at the Dungeon Party. Buy this year’s or collect them all. Either way, you’ll be supporting the Park City Museum’s education programs and acquiring a family keepsake.

 2012 – Kimball Garage

When the livery business became obsolete with the advent of automobiles, the Kimball brothers replaced their livery stables in 1929 with the new Kimball Garage.  Automotive repair service was provided on the main floor and, in the basement, automobile storage during the winter.  The building was considered state of the art, constructed from brick and concrete with steel girders to hold the roof.  It was proclaimed fireproof, a novel idea for Park City.
